Where are my videos stored?
If you want access to an individual clip or clips, the recommended method is to export a video clip. Select the clip in the results list of the Search view, and choose "Export clip..." from the Tools menu. If advanced users want access to the source video, it is stored in the following locations. Please be careful to copy rather than edit or delete files, so as not to interfere with the display of video clips in the Search view.
- On Windows XP go to C:\Documents and Settings\<your user name>\Local Settings\Application Data\Vitamin D Video\videos\archive\<your camera name>. There are a series of video clips in this folder. Make sure not to open the video in the folder called "tmp." This is video that is currently being recorded.
- On Vista, go to C:\Users\<your user name>\AppData\Local\Vitamin D Video\videos\archive\<your camera name>.
- On Mac OS go to /Users/<your user name>/Library/Application Support/Vitamin D Video/videos/archive/<your camera name>.
