How do I set up a rule to record only at certain times?

You can set up schedules for rules (e.g., every day, or MWF from 8 am to 5pm), in the Rules list of the Monitor view.

• If there is a checkbox, select it and click the blue schedule text in the middle of the screen to display the rule scheduler.
• If there is no checkbox, this means the rule is only set up as a search filter (and doesn't record or do anything when the event is seen, and therefore can't be scheduled). In that case:
  • Click the text of the rule and select Edit Rule... to display the Rule editor.
  • Click the box that says "If Seen," and select one of the Response check boxes on the right.

  

  • Click OK to return to the Monitor view. You should now see blue text next to the rule that says, "Every day - 24 hours." Click on that text to display the rule scheduler.
